New website launch for Rafflesia Wedding Flowers……

So after creating her own website for the first 10 years of her business, Joanna thought it was about time to call in the professionals to help her relaunch a new site and new image as well as put her logo idea into a digital form.

She wanted to keep the simple look of her site, just soften its appearance and use more script like fonts, as well as create a fabulous and easy to use portfolio, and of course incorporate her new logo.  She went for a logo that depicted the origins of the Rafflesia arnoldi flower, from which her business name derives, because it is the largest flower in the world, which she was lucky enough to see while travelling through Sumatra, and although the flower itself is not related to wedding flowers in anyway, it is rare and it is the State flower of Indonesia, one of her favourite places in the world and it is named after Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore, who was on a joint expedition in Sumatra with Dr Joseph Arnold, hence the name Rafflesia arnoldi.  Joanna therefore feels extremely lucky to have seen such an amazing flower in its native environment and therefore decided to use this beautiful word for her business name as what could be more appropriate for someone who loves flowers, than to use the name of the world’s largest single bloomed flower.
